ACTIONS FINANCED BY THE PROGRAM
KEY ACTION 1 – INDIVIDUAL MOBILITY
Key Action 1 supports, among other activities, the mobility of students and staff, or the opportunity to undertake a learning and / or professional experience in another country. Also included in this key action there is the Erasmus Mundus joint Master Degrees, i.e. high-level integrated international study programs, provided by consortia of higher education institutions, which award full scholarships to the best students from around the world. The target of the key Action 1 are students, trainees and young people but also professors, teachers, trainers, youth leaders, staff from educational / education institutions and civil society organizations.
KEY ACTION 2 – COLLABORATION IN THE FIELD OF INNOVATION AND EXCHANGE OF GOOD PRACTICES
Among the activities funded by Key Action 2 we find, instead, the development of strategic transnational partnerships, which aim to develop initiatives focused on one or more sectors of education, training and youth. The objective is to promote innovation, the exchange of experiences between different types of organizations involved in the sectors of education, training and youth or other relevant sectors, but not only. Within the Key Action 2 there are also knowledge alliances between higher education institutions and businesses, which aim to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, creativity, employability, the exchange of knowledge and / or multidisciplinary teaching and learning.
KEY ACTION 3 – SUPPORT FOR POLICY REFORM
One of the activities supported by Key Action 3 is the dialogue, policies and promotion of the Program among stakeholders and public authorities, suppliers and stakeholders in the education, training and youth sectors. The objective is to spread awareness-raising activities on European strategic programs, in particular Europe 2020. These activities are fundamental for the stakeholders to develop the ability to actively support the implementation of policies, stimulating the use of the results of the Program and to ensure that a tangible impact can be generated.
JEAN MONNET ACTIVITIES
The Jean Monnet activities finance modules, chairs and academic excellence centres to deepen the teaching of studies on European integration, represented in official study programs and training courses for higher education institutions. These actions also aim to provide detailed training on European integration issues, for sectors whose demand in the labour market is growing. At the same time, the actions aim to encourage, advise and guide the young generation of teachers and researchers in the field of European integration.
SPORT
Actions in the field of sport will mainly support collaborative partnerships, with the aim of promoting the integrity of sport (measures to combat doping, match-fixing and protection of minors), support innovative approaches for the implementation of EU principles on good governance in sport and not only. EU strategies will also be supported in the areas of social inclusion and equal opportunities by encouraging participation in sport and physical activity, supporting the implementation of community guidelines on physical activity, volunteering, employment in the health and sports sector, as well as education and professional training in sports.
